John D. MacArthur Beach
The John D. MacArthur Beach is named after its benefactor, who donated 800 acres of land and two miles of undeveloped beachfront to the State of Florida. The beach features a 1,600-foot wooden pedestrian boardwalk as well as the John D. MacArthur Beach State Park. Visitors should make note of the beach's posted signs.
